Baked oats is a versatile oatmeal dish that can be enjoyed as a quick and nutritious breakfast, or in larger quantities, it can even qualify as brunch or supper. It’s the perfect dish for meal preppers because you can prepare it with a variety of ingredients and a healthy meal, because it contains fiber, protein and other essential nutrients depending on the ingredients you use. Here’s a baked oats recipe you can prepare using oatmeal and Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic butter spread.This is one of the easiest recipes with oats you’ll find out there. Ingredients

For the Filling:

1 bunch spinach, washed and chopped

1 cup corn kernels, cooked or canned

1/4 cup chopped red onion

4 tbsp mayonnaise

For the Pinwheels:

4 slices whole-wheat bread

Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1: Prepare the Spinach and Corn Filling

Boil spinach leaves and corn kernels. Sauté chopped onions in a pan, add the boiled spinach, and mix well. Blend the mixture for a consistent texture. Combine with crushed corn and Nutralite Veg Mayo. Nutralite Veg Mayo is enriched with vitamins A, D2 & E.

Step 2: Assemble the Pinwheels

Cut out the sides of the bread slices, then flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin. Spread a generous layer of neutral veg mayo on bread slices. Place the spinach and corn mixture evenly on each slice. Roll the bread slices tightly to form a log. Refrigerate for a while to set.

Step 3: Slice and Serve

Milk 1 glass

Maple Syrup

Melted Coconut Oil

Baking Powder

How To Make This Baked Oatmeal Recipe

Step 1: Mash The Banana

Use a ripe banana here. Mash it and spread it at the bottom of a large mixing bowl. Pour a glass of milk, half a cup of maple syrup, some coconut oil and a tablespoon of Nutralite butter spread. Whisk the contents in the mixing bowl to combine them.

Step 2: Add the Tastemakers

Next, add a spoon of baking powder, a spoon of cinnamon, and a spoon of salt. Whisk the oatmeal mix again. Add half the blueberries, and then the oatmeal to the mixing bowl. Then add ¾ cup of walnuts or pecans. Stir the mixture thoroughly until it combines.

Step 3: Transfer the mix to a baking pan

Transfer the contents of the mixing bowl to a baking pan. Make sure you spread the contents evenly around the pan. Once you’ve done that, add the rest of the blueberries and nuts as a topping over the oatmeal mix. You can also add some brown sugar and coconut flakes here for added flavor.

 

Step 4: Bake the oatmeal

Place the baking pan in an oven and bake it at 180°C for around 40-50 minutes until the topping looks crisp and the middle looks mostly set.
