Ingredients

For the Filling:

1 bunch spinach, washed and chopped

1 cup corn kernels, cooked or canned

1/4 cup chopped red onion

4 tbsp mayonnaise

For the Pinwheels:

4 slices whole-wheat bread

Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1: Prepare the Spinach and Corn Filling

Boil spinach leaves and corn kernels. Sauté chopped onions in a pan, add the boiled spinach, and mix well. Blend the mixture for a consistent texture. Combine with crushed corn and Nutralite Veg Mayo. Nutralite Veg Mayo is enriched with vitamins A, D2 & E.

Step 2: Assemble the Pinwheels

Cut out the sides of the bread slices, then flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin. Spread a generous layer of neutral veg mayo on bread slices. Place the spinach and corn mixture evenly on each slice. Roll the bread slices tightly to form a log. Refrigerate for a while to set.

Step 3: Slice and Serve

Once the pinwheel log has been set, slice it into rounds. Arrange on a plate, and your Nutritious Spinach and Corn Pinwheels are ready to be served.

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup plant-based milk

1 cup water

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp salt

Step 1: Prepare the Oatmeal Mix

As with any other oatmeal best recipe, the first step of this chocolate oatmeal recipe is to prepare the oatmeal mix in a pot. More often than not, with most oatmeal breakfast ideas, you can get creative and use the ingredients you like. Just make sure you get the ratio of oatmeal to milk right. In case of this easy recipe with oats, we’re making porridge, so the ratio can be skewed more in favor of oats over milk depending on how thick you want the porridge to be. We recommend a 60:40 ratio between oats and milk. The base of the mix must be the rolled oats. Add some Nutralite Choco Spread Calcium Enriched flavor to the layer of baked oats. Then add the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2: Boil the Oatmeal Mix

Transfer the oatmeal mix to a stove and cook it on medium heat. Keep stirring it while it’s cooking to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot. This process should take around 6-8 minutes and the oatmeal mix should look thick and creamy.
